Central idea
As a central element of the composition of the Arts HUB, the integration of studio spaces for artists along with creative and promotional spaces, both indoor and outdoor, in a complex that is harmoniously integrated into the urban fabric of the area, was chosen. The arts are the visual arts such as painting, sculpture and dance.

The central idea is implemented in 3 main volumes of the complex. The building located at the front of Pireos Street, which creates a pilotis on the ground floor, hosts a small theatre on the first floor of the building, while a two-storey exhibition space extends on the first and second floors of the building. In the eastern part of the building there is a staircase that also functions as an emergency staircase connecting all levels. The single-storey mid-wall building, which covers the entire length of the plot, includes a shop and a café that open onto the pilotis of the first building and are located at the front of the Pireos. In addition, in the northern part of the building is the administration area and in the centre the staircase and sanitary facilities. At the core of the composition there is the main building of circular plan which includes a library, a reading hall, a dance hall and studios. The building is connected by bridges to the staircase of the mid-wall building and a bridge connects it to the first building on the first floor of the exhibition.
